  1. Why DirectMusicService.com?
    DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE has been serving professional DJs since 1999 with the finest vinyl compilation records. We are now moving our service to the online world. DirectMusicService.com was created by DJs for DJs. We know exactly what today's working dj needs.

  2. What is the cost to join?
    Direct Music Service has three subscriptions packages to choose from. Our billing is recurring and is billed to your paypal account each 30 days from the day you initially sign up unless cancelled.

  3. What are the download limits?
    You may download 1 -2 tracks at a time and each track can only be downloaded once per month. This is to prevent piracy and abuse of your membership. It is suggested that you use download manager to download your files but it is not necessary.

  4. What source material does DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE use?
    DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE only uses the highest sample rate available at the time of the initial release of a track. If the quality of a track source material is not above 160KBPS (MP3), then Direct Music Service will not use the material and will wait for better source material to become available.

  5. How often does DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE update?
    DMS is updated 4-5 times a week. Please click on the "New Releases" button on the top page to view a complete listing of the newest uploads.

  6. Does DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE accept requests?
    DMS has a very extensive library of the tracks that most DJs need to be successful, however if you do not see a particular track that you need an edit for, we can make one for you. Please send us a track request with a brief description to requests@directmusicservice.com . Most requests are filled within 3 business days.

  7. Does DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE accept material from outside remixers / editors?
    DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE does accept material from outside remixers / editors but not all material will make it on DirectMusicService.com. To submit a track simply email it to requests@directmusicservice.com . Each track and each remixer will be dealt with on a case by case basis. No tracks will be uploaded on DirectMusicService.com without the remixer's / editor's full consent.

  8. What audio format does DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE use?
    All DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE edits are non-DRM 192k bit rate MP3s minimum.

  9. What type of tracks are on DIRECTMUSICSERVICE.COM?
    DIRECT MUSIC SERVICE is not a DJ "mashup" service. Most of our edits are straight forward tracks with a 32 beat (8 bar) intros and 64 beat outros. We do, however, have acapella loops, tools and blends to help service all types of DJ needs. We also aim to offer all genres of music.
